Club BD2

Play & Childcare – Helping Working Parents

The Club aims to provide excellent, Ofsted registered childcare for 3-14 year olds attending:

  • Grove House Primary
  • St Francis Primary
  • Hanson Academy

Fun, Friendships & Confidence

Children learn about themselves and the world through play, and while they are learning they have a lot of fun. Care and education go together in our after-school service where we aim to encourage all aspects of children’s development.

Grove House primary’s high quality after school care service helps give children aged from 3 – 14 years old the best possible start in life and provides a vital service for local working families. We are sure that your child will enjoy their time with us and get the most out of learning through play.  Please complete an application pack to apply for a place.

Learning through play after school £8.00 PER SESSION

Our term-time 24 place care service runs from the end of school to 6.00pm every day, with an escorted ‘walking bus’ from St Francis Primary School and Hanson Academy. Our learning environment fosters equal opportunites and mutual respect, based on Grove House’s highly successful ‘Values-based’ education philosophy.

5 great reasons to use our after-school care:

  1. affordable, high quality child-care, learning and play within a school setting.
  2. convenient and accessible to children from local schools.
  3. registered and inspected by Ofsted – most recently judged as ‘Good’.
  4. a high staffing ratio, with a key worker for each child.
  5. a programme of activities that encourages children to extend their learning, delivered by fully trained and experienced child-care professionals.
